For those of you not in the gaming world, Halo Master Chief Edition came out last week. We have an xbox one and I have been attempting to learn how to both walk and look in different directions. My brothers and my husband are probably laughing reading this because it really is my greatest struggle. But I am happy to say that after hours of practice, I can now run and look in the right direction most of the time. I fall off of cliffs frequently and sometimes I shoot in the right direction, but the best part is spending time with Wilson. Even if he is laughing maniacally while I am screaming that invisible aliens are attacking me.
In other news, we haven't had Gunner at the house yet. He is enjoying his stint with James and Kate. Kate is still firmly a cat person although she admits that he is the coolest dog she has ever met. It is nice that there is so much family available to help while John and Jess are moving to Kenai.
Also we have been assigned callings in our new family ward. WIlson is the assistant scout master and he will be in charge of the deacons. He is very excited that all of his camp gear and skills won't go to waste. And now I can count myself as a scout widow :)
I have been called as the first counselor in the young women's. I loved being in the young women's program when I was that age and I hope that I can make it a good experience for the girls in our ward. I am pretty excited!
